Inspired by the James Webb Space Telescope’s iconic image of the Carina Nebula, this is my interpretation of the stunning star-forming region NGC 3324. This painting captures the chaos and beauty of this stellar nursery – glowing with light reflected from young stars, sculpted by stellar winds, and unveiling the dust and gas from which new stars are born. This piece is painted on a 10 x 20 inch canvas using fluid art techniques with acrylic paint and finished with a gloss varnish.
